Martha "Marty" Eland Grimm passed away in Irvine, CA on December 12, 2021 at the age of 101. She was the daughter of the late Carl & Lily Eland, and the youngest of 2 children. She was born March 10, 1920 at Blue Hill Farm, MN. In the 1930s, the family moved to Milwaukee, WI where she met her husband, Gerry Grimm, and together they moved to Southern California. They were married for 72 years. She was a devoted mother and wife. She also worked for Body Guard which made fireman protective clothing and retired at age 62. She lived a life of service to God and always helped those in need. She touched so many lives with her acts of love, kindness and compassion. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and amazing caregiver. Martha is survived by her daughters Dianne Lundquist, Lupe Moorhouse, Rosa Heide, Connie Smith & Maria Stoddard; and sons-in-law, Mike Behrens, Tim Moorhouse, Tim Heide and Norm Smith. She also had 5 grandchildren, Mark Lundquist, Jenny Masters, Matt Moorhouse, Kirk Heide and Sean Smith; daughters-in-law, Lieda Lundquist, Candice Cheung and Naomi Smith; and 4 great grandchildren, Evie Masters, Logan Masters, Isiah Moorhouse and Sofia Smith.

Funeral mass to be held December 27th at 10am at St. John Neumann Church, 5101 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA 92604. Burial service to be held January 3rd at 1:30pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518
