Mary (Wood) Ball, age 93, of Lake Forest, CA passed away on December 8, 2022

She was born in Groton, CT on July 29, 1929, the daughter of the late William Wood and Mary (Burns) Wood.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her zest for life and her sparkling blue eyes made her many friends wherever she went.

Mary is survived by her sister Lorraine Sanders of Ohio, her son Timothy Sullivan of Connecticut, daughters Maureen Sullivan of Nevada, Margaret Ball of Connecticut, Son-in-Law Eric Howard of Connecticut, Mary Stallings of Connecticut, Kayleen Hanrahan of California, Son-in Law Edward Hanrahan of California and Kimberly Ball of Massachusetts.

As well as her grandchildren Charles Schembre of Nevada, Nichole Schembre of Nevada, Matt Hanrahan of New Hampshire, Jalena Hanrahan of California, Kendal and Arlon Howard of Connecticut, Bryan Ball of Connecticut, Zachery Thompson of South Carolina, and her great grandchildren, Camden Schembre and Chloe Schembre of Nevada.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arlon Ball, her sisters, Dorothy Strickland, Virginia DiSiano, Theresa Tolitsky and her brothers William and Daniel Wood.
