Mary Ricotta, known as "Granny" to so many who loved her, was carried into the Lords arms at 12:15, the morning of April 17, 2017.

Born to Mary and Frank Russo, November 24, 1915, in Rockford, Illinois, Mary moved to California with her husband Louis and children in 1951.

Mary lived a long and busy life. She worked in factories during the Second World War, married her loving husband Louis, raised their two children and cared for many friends and family.Her true calling was being a prayer warrior.She prayed continually for family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Louis, her daughter in law Jenny Ricotta and six siblings.She was the mother of Anita (Patrick) Di Luccia and Dennis (Janice) Ricotta, grandmother of four, great grandmother of eight, and the great, great, grandmother to one great, great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, please give to your favorite charity or mission. It would be her request that the word of God be presented to all. Though she will be missed, we rejoice that she is now enjoying her reward in the presence of our Lord.
