On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, Maryka Victoria Florence, a talented, caring, loving, wife passed away at the age of 77 at Saddleback Memorial Care.  She was surrounded by her husband and three step children.  Born on January 28th 1947, she passed due to several complications from an earlier condition known as Pulmonary Fibrosis. She survived a lung transplant operation and several other conditions, but later was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Being a fighter, she overcame all obstacles and lived on for many years. Her body finally gave up the fight and she moved on.

As a singer in her younger years, Maryka traveled the world and met many interesting people along the way.  She told many stories of faraway places and night clubs she sang in. Through her tales we lived a little of the life she had.

Later in life she became involved in the beauty industry and excelled in the practice of helping people.

Maryka was a small business owner. She owned and operated Salone Raffine in Corona Del Mar, California for over 30 years. Salone Raffine was Maryka's pride and joy, and a large part of her life's work. She poured her heart and soul into the business which showed to all customers and patrons of her salon. Her warm smile and unwavering support made her a cherished friend to many.

Maryka's legacy of kindness and compassion will forever live on in our hearts. She will be deeply missed, and her spirit shines brightly in our memories.

Maryka is survived by her husband, Steven, three stepchildren Douglas, Jason, Chase, her brother Ferenc Agoston and countless friends.
