Michael Kenneth Koncz, born July 8, 1965 Long Beach, CA, passed away in his Laguna Woods home on July 30, 2021.Mike was a loving brother, son, uncle and father. Born to Helen and Carl Koncz, he is survived by his Mother Helen Koncz, Father Carl Koncz, Daughter Ashley, Sister Susanne Castro and Brother-in-Law Jessie Castro, Sister Elizabeth Blythe and Brother-in-Law Tom Blythe, Niece Kristin Estrada and her husband Edward, Nephew David Castro and his wife Nicole, Niece Cassidy Hicks and her husband Tim, Nephew Cooper Blythe, Great nieces Emily, Sadie and Eleanor, Great Nephew Jacob.

A California native, he grew up surfing, riding motorcycles down the coast and spending time with family and friends.
Mike worked different trades over his life.He owned a video store when VHS and DVD rentals were at its peak, worked at a Tow Truck Company and for the last 8 years worked at his older sister's Property Management Company in the Accounting Department.

Mike's greatest pleasures in life were building model airplanes, wood models of different objects, puzzles and spending time with his family.He found joy in seeing his family smile and always gave what he could to his nieces and nephews.

Mike had a contagious laugh and was always happy just to be enjoying the simple things in life.He will be missed very much.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at McCormick & Son in Laguna Hills, CA followed by a catamaran out to sea to lay his ashes to rest.Dinner to follow celebration of life.
