IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michol Anne
Dawson
May 2, 1977 – May 15, 2022
Michol Anne Dawson was a loving wife, devoted daughter, expert puzzle solver, global traveler, compassionate caregiver, and accomplished medical technologist. Michol suddenly transitioned from our world on May 15, 2022 .
Inquisitive and dauntless, Michol explored the world and visited all six inhabited continents. Some of her personal highlights were visiting the base camp at Mt. Denali in Alaska, exploring the beaches of Thailand, climbing Machu Pichu in Peru, ziplining in the rainforests of Costa Rica, ascending to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, trekking on safari in the Serengeti of Tanzania, and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef off of coast of Australia.
A keen lifelong learner, Michol is a proud alumna of University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and Orange Coast College accomplishing the completion of four degrees.
After discovering her passion for caregiving and medical technology, Michol proudly worked at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in the Sleep Disorders Center for ten years progressively gaining new responsibilities ultimately to the role of Supervisor.
Michol is survived by husband David Amuda, father Harold Dawson, mother-in-law Chung Cha Amuda, and a host of family and friends from around the country.
