IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Naim Joubran
Awad
October 21, 1944 – January 18, 2026
Naim Joubran Awad, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 18, 2026. Born on October 21, 1944, in Jerusalem, Naim lived a life defined by strength, humility, and deep devotion to those he loved.
Naim was the cherished husband of Soumaya Shamshoum Awad. Together they shared 54 years of marriage marked by faithfulness, steadfast commitment, and an enduring partnership. Their home was one built on love, sacrifice, and family, and their legacy will continue through the generations they nurtured.
In 1976, Naim immigrated to the United States, guided by hope and a profound determination to create a better future for his children. He worked tirelessly throughout his life, placing the highest value on education, discipline, and perseverance. Through both his words and, most importantly, his example, he taught his family the importance of hard work, integrity, and responsibility.
Naim was a proud and loving father to his three children, Joubran, Ketti, and Rema, who were truly the pride and joy of his life. In later years, he found his greatest happiness in being a grandfather. He is survived by six beloved grandchildren, who brought him endless joy, laughter, and pride.
Naim will be remembered for his steady presence, strong character, and the unwavering love he had for his family. His life was a testament to devotion—devotion to his family, to his roots, and to the values he carried forward.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
