Natalie Riezman, born May 31, 1927, in New York City, passed in her sleep on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the age of ninety-four in her assisted care home in Irvine, California. She was born to Sarah and Morris Shapiro who had migrated from eastern Europe. She had three siblings, Ruthie (passed), Tobey (passed) and Joey (passed). She was married to Louis Riezman on November 23, 1947, until Louis's death in 2017. Natalie is survived by her two sons, Eric and Alan, two grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah, daughter-in-law Susan, and great grand-daughter, Maia, born to Joshua and his wife Lauren.
During the early years of her children, Natalie was a home keeper. However, she latter joined her husband as a traveling representative for companies that manufactured children's outerwear—a perfect fit for her flare for fashion and engaging personality. Natalie also managed the finances and the detailed organization of the operation.
Both Natalie and her husband traveled extensively throughout the southeastern United States marketing their merchandise. Natalie was an avid golfer and an expert seamstress. She enjoyed traveling and made many trips with her husband to Europe, Asia, and most of the United States.
Natalie is to be buried with her husband in the Miramar National Cemetery.
