Nina Mae (Gercich) Clark peacefully passed away on Saturday December 12, 2015 at home in Irvine, surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old.

Nina was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 28, 1930, attended St. Mary's Academy and received her under graduate degree in education from California State University Los Angeles. She and her husband spent 47 years living in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes.

Nina retired as an elementary school teacher in 1989 after many years of service with the L.A. Unified School District. She spent her retirement years travelling around the world with her beloved husband, spending time with family, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and being a very active member in her catholic church.

She was married to het college sweetheart Jim for 56 years, until his sudden passing in 2009. Nina is survived by a daughter, Nina Mae Churchill (David) of Irvine, CA and a son, James D. Clark, Jr. (Alison) of Laguna Niguel, CA. Nina has three grandchildren that she adored – Dolan, Avery and Isabelle.

Funeral Mass to be held Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:00AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Irvine, CA.
