Nirmal Singh Multani, age 69, of Jalandhar, Punjab, India passed away Friday, September 25, 2020. He was born in Shasarph Goursian, Punjab, India on November 4, 1950 and was the first in his village to graduate from University.

Nirmal retired in 2008 as the Chief Engineer from the Punjab State Electricity Board and spent most of his time doing social work in his community by providing medical care for the less fortunate. He was a deeply spiritual man and made time to worship daily.
He is survived by his wife, Surinder Kaur Multani; 90 year old father, Joginder Singh; son, Sukhjinder Multani; daughter, Shubpreet Ghotra; three brothers, Gurdev, Balwinder, Kamaljeet; two sisters, Koki and Gudi; and three grandchildren.

He was a towering figure with the kindest soul. He had the most loving smile and gentle laugh. His endless wisdom and timeless advice always helped others find their way.
