He lives on through his wife of 45 years, Rosie, and his children, Mike, Benida, Nadia and Abraham; and three grandchildren; Bebeani, Rosette and Lucia.
Born and raised in many parts of the world, the son of Mihran and Nergez Panian, the beaches of Orange County is where he called home.
In his early years, Nish humbly grew up mastering his craft in footwear design. He traveled throughout many parts of Europe and the Mediterranean to expand his expert knowledge and passion. He mastered the study of footwear at ARS Sutoria in Milano, Italy. Finding his way to Los Angeles, he worked as a pattern engineer in a local shoe company and was mesmerized by a co-worker and wife to be, Rosie Gonzalez. Soon after, they got married and built a Family in Los Angeles.
After a few years of hard work and relentless passion and ambition, Nish decided to create his own children shoe design and manufacturing business with his wife Rosie. He humbly started the business in the garage of their own home and soon after moved into a large factory in LA. They were in high demand with high profile clientele throughout the country, and the business flourished for decades. He later pursued a career with Converse shoes as the Lead Commercialization Manager in regions of North Carolina, Texas and Mexico. Later, Nish decided to jump into the business of real estate with his wife Rosie, and successfully sold many commercial and residential properties in the So Cal region. His opened mindedness, curiosity and love of different cultures led him to speak several different languages; English, Spanish, Armenian, Turkish, Arabic and Italian. He was able to communicate and connect with all, language was never a barrier.
From a young age, Nish was an executive member of Homenetmen. He dedicated his services and made considerable donations to the organization as well. He held very true to heart the motto of Homenetmen, "Rise and Raise", which signifies the idea to elevate yourself and elevate others with you.
Nish's colorful personality, humor, kindness, charm, warmth, loyalty & honor and relentlessness won the hearts of many and is what helped create his success in everything he ventured out for. To say that he loved and cared and did anything for his Family would be an understatement. His Family was his pride and joy and placed all his time and energy on them to create an easier and better life for them. His strong impressionable spirit lives on and in his Family.
Nish's profound faith in God was exemplary. He passed on his teachings to all who he loved and praised God for all that he built with his Family. His strong faith in The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and our Jehovah God continues to live through his Family.
His faith in God and the purity of his genuine heart was infectious, and all who came his way were inspired by his humanity. Nish is an inspiration to many and will be in our hearts forever.
