Saturday
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
3:00 - 4:00 pm (Pacific time)
On Saturday, October 17, our sweet Noelle Charity Hill suffered a seizure, and despite the very best medical care, she passed away. At just 12 years old, Noelle was brave, resilient, sweet, and truly our angel on earth.
Noelle is survived by her loving parents, Jake and Kelsie Hill, and her sisters, Sadie and Hazel Hill and her best buddy…her dog Willow. She was born in 2014 in Orange County California and enjoyed living in the Orange County area her entire life.
Noelle was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, also known as 4p-, an extremely rare genetic condition. Throughout her life, Noelle faced countless medical challenges. She was deaf and blind, non-verbal, non-mobile and had many many surgeries. Her family and medical team fought for her and loved her fiercely for 12 years to give Noelle the best care and attention possible. Noelle led a valiant and special life and God gave her the most special people surrounding her to care for her throughout her life. She especially loved her in-home nurses that cared for her everyday. Pier, Sophie, and Cynthia loved her as if she was their own and Noelle loved them the same way!
Everyone that knew Noelle immediately felt her special presence. We called her our angel, our pumpkin, and bubbie. Everyone who entered her orbit was positively impacted by her smile, her genuine love of all people and her ability to make each person feel important and special.
Noelle loved spending time at the park, especially on the swing. To honor her memory, we plan to install a bench in her name, and to add more benches in the area, quiet places where people can rest their feet and reflect. There will be a memorial service on October 24, 2026 at 3pm located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 22851 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656. If unable to attend please join via zoom
Meeting ID: 923 6511 8964
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered support, and surrounded our family with love. We are incredibly grateful for the community that loved Noelle and gave her every opportunity to live her best life.
In lieu of flowers if you’d like to support building benches as a memorial in her name. Here is a link to a GoFundMe. https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-noelle-charity-hill
