Dearborn Heights - Pauline entered this world in September 1929 in Windsor, Ontario, and was lovingly adopted into the home of Arthur and Ethel Nicholls, where she was raised as the youngest of four daughters. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela (James) and Michelle, as well as many former in-laws, nieces (including special niece Sharon Swanwick), nephews and friends. She peacefully passed away on April 2, 2021, from causes incident to age.

Independence was a strong trait in Pauline. She worked very hard during her entire life and raised her two daughters completely on her own. She was admired for her generosity, kindness and independent spirit and adored by many for her great sense of humor and comedic timing. She enjoyed life and traveling back and forth from Michigan to San Diego and Maui for many years before eventually relocating in Orange County, CA, where she spent her last years until our good Lord called her home.

She will be missed by many, but remembered with much fondness and joy. In lieu of flowers, please honor the charity of your choice. Pauline's favorite charity was St Jude's Children Hospitals.
