Persis Bakshian returned home to her Lord and Maker on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.  Perry was born in 1940 in Tehran, Iran, the daughter of Azizollah and Heshmat Mebasser. She is the sister of Faegheh (Farshid) Hakim, and John (Simin) Mebasser.  She and Ardy Bakshian celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in March of 2023. They have two children, Yas and Sam.  The family moved to Minnesota from Iran in 1979, where she pursued a career in cosmetology and operated her own business for 15 years.  She loved her flowers & gardening and she was also an active member of the Seed of Abraham faith community.  After retirement, Perry and Ardy moved to their current home in Mission Viejo, CA.  At her new home, she continued her love of gardening and attended Ben David Messianic Jewish Congregation and she also attended Beverly Hills Persian Church via Zoom.

Perry is survived by her beloved husband, Ardy and her siblings, Fae and John, as well as her children Yas and Sam, Sam's wife, Imani, and Sam's daughters Leila, Sophie and Ayla.
