Phyllis was born in Alliance, Nebraska to her parents Joseph Clarence and Nettie Pearl Beezley and grew up in Lincoln, NE. In 1946, she married the love of her life, Roy Michael - a proud Marine - in Marysville, KS. During 60 wonderful years of marriage together, they raised their family in Anaheim, CA and later retired to Laguna Woods Village, CA.
Phyllis spent her final her final months in the loving care of Grace Radford and her compassionate staff at Precious Home Care II, in Mission Viejo, CA.
Family was EVERYTHING to Phyllis! She brightened all our lives with her sharp wit, her infectious humor, her gentle devotion and kindness, and wonderful sense of mischief, reflected in her beautiful blue eyes. She particularly loved flower gardening, ceramics and other hand crafts, bowling, bike riding, roller skating, Scrabble, Rummy, Jeopardy, and puzzles. We all recall with such fondness her homemade soups, a pot always on when anyone came to visit.
With her fun and optimistic personality, she was always willing to lend a sympathetic ear to family and friends. Her loving spirit will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to know her. QUE SERA, SERA!
Her final resting place will be with Roy at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.
