Praveen Prathapachandran, born on 23rd May 1978, passed away on 5th Nov 2022, at age 44, in Orange county, California. He was pronounced dead in the ER, after collapsing while on his morning walk.

Praveen completed his Bachelor of Science from College of Applied Sciences, Kerala and Masters of Computer Applications from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. In the past, he has worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Canada, Bangalore and San Francisco. Lately, he was working as Staff Software Engineer at Experian Consumer Services, in Orange County, California.

In his own words - "I love learning new things, solving problems and working in highly collaborative environments. When I'm not coding, you will find me riding my motorcycle or hiking"

He loved bike riding, cars, travel and hiking. He was a big fan of Formula 1 racing and the racer Max Verstappen.

Praveen's life, albeit short, has left firm footprints in the hearts of many friends, family and colleagues. He was a loving husband and a devoted father. He was very attached to his son and was actively involved in his sports and other activities. He is fondly remembered by many for his quirky sense of humor and witty come-backs. The twinkle in his eyes when he cracked jokes and the hearty contagious laugh will remain etched in people's memories forever.

Praveen hails from Calicut, a coastal city in the picturesque state of Kerala in India. He is survived by his wife Suja Jayanthi and 10 year old son Anirudh Praveen. Suja is working as Senior Software Engineer at Advantest and Anirudh is in 4th grade at Melinda Heights Elementary School. His parents are Prathapachandran and Prema Kumari, from Calicut. His sister Praveena and brother-in-law Ranjith live in Kochi

Services will be held on Thursday Nov 10, 2022 at 9:00 AM at McCormick & Son Mortuaries and Crematory, Laguna Beach, California.
