Radha Krishnan Vinod passed away unexpectedly on August 18th, 2024 in Tustin, CA, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched everyone she met during her 52 years of life.
Radha grew up in a close-knit family in New Delhi, India, daughter of C.M. Kumar and K.C. Thankam. She was considered the ideal daughter by her parents, who took great pride in her accomplishments and dreams. Radha shared an unmatched bond with her caring sister, Meera Khatri, who was not only her older sister but also her best friend. Their sisterly love and support for each other were truly remarkable. Radha pursued a double Master's degree in Molecular Biology from JNU in New Delhi and continued her studies at UT Dallas, where she earned a third Master's degree in Management Information Systems. This academic foundation paved the way for her promising career ahead.
Radha was a devoted wife to her husband, Vinod Kanakath, a loving mother to her daughter, Ishika Kanakath and white labrador Winter. She was the heart of her family, always going above and beyond to ensure their happiness and success. Radha's love for Ishika knew no bounds; she was Ishika's greatest supporter, offering wisdom, encouragement, and nurturing her dreams through all obstacles in life. She was not just Ishika's mother, but also her best friend. Radha's warmth extended beyond her family; she was cherished by her daughter's friends and embraced as a mother figure by many. She was regarded as family by everyone around her.
Radha had spent the last eight years as a highly respected Director of Project Management at Experian. Her tireless work ethic, commitment, and leadership made her known as the go-to person for any challenge, always ready to offer her support. Beyond her professional achievements, she was a beloved member of the community, cherished for her kindness, generosity, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.
Radha was often referred to as superwoman, a title she earned through her selflessness and dedication. Her compassion and empathy left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Her free-spirited approach to life and unwavering dedication to others were sources of inspiration to all who knew her. Radha's kindness and generosity have left an indelible mark on many hearts, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit's warmth will continue to shine brightly, lighting our path in the days ahead. Rest in peace Radha, you are with parents now, reunited as a family. You are forever in our hearts.
