Ralph Bushnell died in his home on January 25, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. He was 79 years old.

Ralph was born in Athens, GA and moved to Storrs, CT when he was two, then Madison, WI.A graduate of Madison's West High School, he went on to receive his JD from the University of Wisconsin in 1962.

Ralph married Mary Busby, the love of his life, in 1960. After raising their children in Madison, Ralph and Mary moved to Laguna Hills in1989 and to Laguna Woods in 2003. Ralph was an avid golfer and investor, and an outgoing and generous man and father. His favorite times were those spent with his many friends and family.

Ralph is survived by Mary, as well as his brother Jim (Mary), and his children Cindy Berigan (Jamie), Sara Jackson (Matt), and James Bushnell (Michelle) and their families including his seven grandchildren:Deirdre, Maggie and Laura Berigan; Emilie and Lisa Jackson, and Alex and Aaron Bushnell.

Services will be held on Feb. 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 27231 Aliso Viejo Parkway, Aliso Viejo, Ca 92656.A Celebration of Ralph's Life will be at 1:00 p.m. at Laguna Woods Clubhouse 3, Dining Room 2.
