Obituary
Rebecca Dawn Conlon was born June 17th, 1982 and passed away on March 5th, 2016 at the age of 33. She is survived by her daughter, Luci; her husband, Christopher Conlon of San Juan Capistrano, CA; her mother and father: Bob and Jerri Brodie of Frisco, TX; her siblings: Brian Brodie of Martinez, CA, and Shaun Brodie of Newark, CA; her father-in-law: William Conlon of Dana Point, CA; and her nephew Aiden Brodie of Martinez, CA.
Rebecca was born in Orange, California at St. Joseph Hospital. She grew up in La Habra, CA and later Livermore, CA. She graduated from Vineyard High School in Livermore. In her senior year, she worked as a writer for an online music magazine, and travelled throughout California covering tours and music festivals. Her coverage allowed her to meet and interact with many popular pop stars of that time. Rebecca married her husband, Chris Conlon in August of 2007 and gave birth to her daughter, Lucille Elizabeth Conlon in 2012. Rebecca and Chris lived in San Ramon, CA, Kent, Washington, Rancho Cucamonga CA, Irvine, CA, Coppell, TX, and Plano, TX before settling in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
Rebecca's smile will continue to brighten the lives of those she held dear. She loved the Lord, music, and all things Disney. She loved spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as her parents. She was an incredible friend to many, and a wonderful mother, wife, sister and daughter, always willing to put the needs of others before herself. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
All are welcome to attend the celebration of Rebecca's life on Monday, March 14th, 2016. A private viewing for close friends and family will be held at 11:00AM at McCormick and Son Mortuary, 25002 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills CA. Services will be held at McCormick and Son beginning at noon. Following the services a graveside ceremony will be held at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630
