It is with great sadness to announce that Rhona Skibinski, a beloved mother, grammy, sister and dear friend to many, passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 87.

Rhona was born and raised on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales.  She met her husband, Jerzy Skibinski (AKA Skip) in 1960 and they married on April 4th, 1961.  They had 3 sons, Tony, Tom and Rich.  They moved to Mission Viejo in 1966 for Skip's job in the early stages of tech as an electronic engineer.  The family also moved back to England for a short period of time then onto Morgan Hill, Pheonix, AZ, and finally back to Southern California.

Rhona was a mother, teacher, excellent cook and a proud member of the DBE (Daughters of the British Empire) in Orange County.  She also loved to travel the world with her family and friends.

Rhona was a bright, shining light constantly touching the hearts of everyone she met.  She loved to sit down for a cup of tea or glass of wine with friends or family and have a nice long chat.

Rhona is survived by her children Tony, Tom (wife Lydia), Rich (wife Jill), siblings Sarah and Ifan, grandchildren Katherine, William, Annika, Lauren and Paige and all her dear friends.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 11:00 AM

at McCormick & Son Mortuary, 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92637

Reception immediately following the service at the home of Tom & Lydia Skibinski
