Richard Edward Quintilone II, age 51, passed away peacefully Monday, July 29, 2024.

Rich was born on May 17, 1973, in Buffalo, NY, to Richard Edward Quintilone and Jennifer Estelle Burlingham. He attended Norfolk Catholic Highschool in Norfolk, Virgina and graduated from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, Virigina, in the Class of 1991. He studied political science at Old Dominion University, graduating in the Class of 1995, before going on to study law at Chapman University, graduating in the Class of 1998.  He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999. He went on to open his own practice in 2002 in Lake Forest, CA, Quintilone & Associates, focusing on wage and hour and consumer class actions, as well as labor and employment law.

Rich was dedicated to his profession and built many relationships in the industry during his time as an attorney. He is known for his big personality and loyalty to those he cared about deeply in his life.

Rich was involved in many sports and extracurriculars in school earning 1st team Eastern District Middle Linebacker for 3 consecutive years in football, playing goalkeeper in soccer, attending governors science magnet school, and playing first chair, second violin for several years in the Eastern Virginia Youth Orchestra.  His love for sports followed into his adult life with his children's activities, as he coached them in basketball, surfing, and beach volleyball, which Rich enjoyed more than anything. He also enjoyed watching his own sports team – the Buffalo Bills; As well as surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing beach volleyball, fishing, hunting, grilling, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters Ashley and Megan; his father Richard Quintilone; his mother Jennifer Quintilone; his stepmother Candy Quintilone; his sisters, Katie Greene and Rachel Loughlin; his brother-in-law Eric Greene; his nieces Kimberly and Bethany; his nephews Jeremiah and Jason; and the Merassa and Mullins families.

We hope that you will honor Rich by having conviction in your faith, being generous and authentic in your actions, and loving without condition.

The funeral will be held at Santiago de Compostela on Thursday, August 22nd at 10 a.m. in Lake Forest, CA. 21682 Lake Forest Dr, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
