Robert Wilson was born October 21, 1941, in Kansas. When he was three years old – Robert and his family moved to Colorado and were longtime residents of Sheridan Lake, CO, farming in the area for many years.
Upon graduating from Pueblo State College – he joined the army and served in the Vietnam war. In 1967 he married Patty (Alonzo) and shortly afterward they moved to Denver where he pursued a career in the gas and oil business. From there he accepted a transfer to California, calling it home for the last 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Wilson and Janet (Sutton) Wilson and five older brothers and two sisters.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patty from the family home in Aliso Viejo, a son James (Carol) of Oregon, a daughter Tracy (Joe Bailey), his sisters Mary Vanderkooy and Loretta Shepherd, granddaughter Kelsey Bailey, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend and sports buddy, Noah Handel.
Robert, beloved husband, father, and grandfather – was the wind beneath our wings and will be greatly missed. His golden heart stopped beating when he answered the call from GOD. It was his time to rest.
