Robert "Bob" Blaze Salerno born May 19, 1931 and passed away of natural causes at the age of 84 on October 01, 2015 in Laguna Hills, California.

Born in Racine, Wisconsin to Joseph and Catherine Salerno, Bob eventually settled in California where he met and married Josephine Spada on February 11, 1956 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Maywood, California. Bob was a hard working restaurant owner as well as Director of Environmental Services at Torrance Memorial Hospital. He served 8 years as City Councilman for the City of Commerce, California.

Bob had many interests and hobbies. One of his favorite weekly events with Josephine was dancing, dinner and a movie. Bob also made time for hunting, cars, planes and building model gliders. He had a great sense of humor and loved goofing off with the children and making funny faces.

A wonderful and loving husband and father, Bob is survived by his wife Josephine, his three children Tony Salerno (wife Diana), Nani Salerno, and Dina Gregory (husband Brandon), his grandchildren Bobby (wife Laura) & Peter Salerno, Blaze Sanders and his great-grandchild Sammi Salerno, as well as his sister Rosemary Ross. He was a dear and devoted friend to many, including his beloved pets.
