Santibanez
April 29, 1932 – April 13, 2022
Robert Santibanez was born on in Goodrich, Colorado. He was the ninth child born to Jeronimo and Francis Santibanez. When he was a small child, his family moved to Anaheim, CA and he attended Saint Boniface Catholic church and school. In 1953 he enlisted in the air force during the Korean War and married Amelia M. Montano. After the war, Robert trained and received his carpenter apprenticeship certificate and started a family of five children. In 1990, he retired from the Carpenter's union and worked for Disneyland through 1995. With his wife by his side, they would take their grand children to Disneyland frequently and enjoy all the exciting experiences the amusement park had to offer. They never got tired of spoiling their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On September 11, 2013, Robert and Amelia celebrated their 60 th anniversary and on November of that year, Robert lost the love of his life and Amelia went home to be with the Lord.
Robert entered into heaven on April 13, 2022 sixteen days short of his 90 th birthday and shared his new address with Amelia in paradise for eternity.
He is survived and loved by his five children, Rorie Simonelli, Robert Andrew Santibanez, Mark Santibanez, Sharon Brown and Tom Santibanez, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
