Rod Foster was born July 7, 1960 in Ruidoso New Mexico, he passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 after battling a long illness.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ginger Foster who passed away on October 16, 2016, his Uncle Keith Gaede, his father Frank Foster, his grandparents Ruth & Raymond Gaede.He is survived by his sister Cheryl Foster Weeks, his brother Chuck Foster and wife Carmen, his nephews, Cody Weeks, Clay Weeks, Colt Weeks & Nolan Foster, his extended family, Kathi Gaede Spiewak, Sharon Gaede Glass, Lynn Gaede Mann, Carl Gaede, Tracey Gaede, Kyle Gaede and Diana Gaede Blatz, Tyler Gaede, Julia Blatz, Bill Gaede, Jim Gaede, Linda I. Smith, numerous other friends.He was a man with no children who was a father to many!

Rod graduated from University High in Irvine in 1978. He worked at Allen Cadillac/GMAC, he started working there at the ripe age of 16, that's 40 years dedication. For many years he also worked after hours at local surf factories. He was man who loved the outdoors, surfing, fishing, playing golf, spending time with friends at Del Mar Race Track.He was also a man who loved his family and would put them before himself.
