Obituary

Ronald A. Bitter (Ron), October 22, 1952 born in Highland Park MI, to parents Joseph Bitter (deceased) and Thelma (deceased), passed away peacefully in his Mission Viejo home Sunday, September 26, 2021, with his loving wife Anna by his side.

Ron's family includes five siblings Charles Hutchins, wife Angie (deceased), Frances Baker (deceased), Jacqueline Watts, Joseph Bitter, wife Kathy, and Thomas Bitter (deceased). Many nieces and nephews including Richard, Kelly, Barbara Anne, Dawn Lee, Deanna Lynne, Danielle Lane (deceased), James Robert, Tiffany, Graham and Thomas Troy, stepdaughter Kimberly, many great nieces and nephews including Reagan, Madison, Brandon, Savannah, Sean, Sara, Seth, Ysa, Braydon, and Crisrina.

Ron honorably served his country from December 1969 to December 1972 as a marine in the United States Marine Corps, served during the Vietnam war.

Shortly after his marriage in March 1988 Ron and Anna packed up their belongings in Michigan and moved to sunny California making Mission Viejo their home with Leroy the cat.

Ron retired from the Orange County Airport where he worked as an electrician.At work, he had many close friends and delighted them with his quick-witted sense of humor.

Some of Ron's passions included United States history, voracious reading (including the Bible from beginning to end), football games, the lottery and hanging out with his wife, family, and friends.Ron traveled to many faraway places and was never afraid of trying or doing anything ever!

Ron was a very generous, fearless, and loyal person!

Visitations will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 4-8:00PM, and the Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 11:30AM both events held at McCormick & Son Mortuaries, 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 www.mcormickandson.com

The burial will take place at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122, (858)-658-7360, www.cem.va.gov
