IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosalinda Maria
Jimenez
August 8, 1963 – December 30, 2022
Rosalinda Maria Jimenez (Rosa aka. Nana), age 59, died on December 30, 2022 in her home, with her mother Mary Morales Jimenez at her side. After a two-year trial of cancer, she is no longer in pain and suffering, and has transitioned into her next adventure to be with her beloved grandfather, Joe Morales, Lola, Mimi and all of those who have awaited her arrival. Her arrival on August 8, 1963, was celebrated by the entire Morales-Jimenez family, who knew instantly that their lives would never be the same. She was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Catholic school and a proud 1981 Mater Dei Monarch of Santa Ana, Ca. Rosa spent 34+ dedicated years in the service of Federal Express, was a 5-star award recipient and gladly worked with her team on Christmas Eve and holidays to deliver love, ending her career as an Operations Manager, with a loyal team who adored her. Rosa was the heart and soul of the Morales-Jimenez family, who delighted in family gatherings, organizing racetrack and Las Vegas excursions, fishing, camping, Camp-Land, was an avid B-52's fan and any adventure that allowed her to spread joy, laughter and love to those around her. Her friendships are an example of what it is to love without conditions; Rosa loved all people – those popular, struggling, at-odds-with-themselves, strays – everyone. She was never shy about expressing her opinion, but never let her views get in the way of loving. Rosa was always up for the next adventure, whether it was Turkey, Italy, Egypt, Israel, France, India, Mexico, Greece, Africa and other places on this earth, and no doubt she is very much ready for this next adventure, serving as God's mischievous angel, lovingly redirecting us with her humor.
She is survived by her parents, Mary and Gabe Jimenez, grand-mother Rose P. Morales, and younger siblings who were at her side every step of the way, Joe Jimenez, Lorean Jimenez-Maiocco, Gaberial Jimenez, and Gene Jimenez, as well as two sisters-in-law, Mary Barr Jimenez, and Lynne Sheridan Jimenez and brother-in-law, Eddie Maiocco. She was the Aunt that every child dreams of having and the one waited for on Christmas Eves to eight nieces and nephews, Dean Jimenez, niece-in-law Sonya Guzman-Jimenez, Andreya Najera, Francois Chevrier, Charles Jimenez, Savannah Jimenez, Caroline Hayden, Bella Maiocco, and four great nephews and nieces, Ivory Najera, Logan Jimenez, Jacob Jimenez, and Gigi Jimenez. We will miss her laughter and joy dearly and know that any time we see Hello Kitty, Rosa is sending us mojo and creating magic and love.
The Morales-Jimenez family will greet the many friends and extended family of Rosa for the wake on January 8, 2023, 4:00-8:00PM at McCormick & Son Mortuaries, 25002 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, California.
