Rosalyn Smith, (Roz or Rosalie) was born in Los Angeles California on October 22, 1924. She passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of December 10, 2015, in San Juan Capistrano at 91 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Boyd Smith, her children Cheri Railey, and Dawn O'Rourke as well as her grandchildren Larry O'Rourke III., Karen Haney, Thomas O'Rourke and her great grandchildren, Lauren Haney, Amelia Haney, T.J. O'Rourke, Christopher O'Rourke, and Ryan O'Rourke.

Rosalyn was born to immigrant parents. She grew up in Los Angeles County and was married to her husband Boyd for 65 years. She and Boyd moved to Orange County California approximately 59 years ago. Most of her work life was spent in retail sales as a grocery clerk or in pharmacy services. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family above all. She was a fun loving women who loved to dance and party and had many friends. Her favorite things were to go out to lunch or dinner. She will be missed but solace is taken in that she lived a long and happy life.

She will be buried privately. Anyone wishing to send condolences can make a donation in Rosalyn's name to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. The family thanks everyone for their love and support.
