Rose Conception Erickson of Laguna Niguel, CA passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017 at the age of 89.

She was born in New Jersey on February 16, 1928 to Salvatore and Angela Orofino. When Rose met Bob in 1953, she knew he was the one. They exchanged letters until 1954, when they married and Rose moved to Los Angeles to be with him.

One of Rose's proudest career accomplishments was working as a secretary for the Gemini and Apollo Space Programs. She also worked at Quality Hardware for over 20 years.She enjoyed her Big Bear cabin and vacationing in New Jersey, Reno, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. She loved to cook, sew, and knit.

Rose loved taking care of her family and will be greatly missed by them.She is survived by her son, Robert Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Ellen; and her granddaughters, Amy and Britta. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Sr.; and her siblings, Connie, Frank, Terry, and Phyllis.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Olive Garden in Laguna Hills located at 24256 El Toro Road, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 on March 16, 2017 at 12:00 PM.
