Rose Fishman entered into rest on February 19, 2016 in Laguna Hills, California. Born in Brooklyn, New York where she spent most of her life, Rose had a very vibrant and fulfilling life as the beloved wife of the late Max Fishman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
The last 7 1/2 years of her life was spent in Laguna Woods, California close to family and friends. Rose will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will forever be remembered as a loving, kind, strong, determined, passionate woman who strived to make a difference in the world. From her nurturing, kindhearted way with family and friends to her great work and passion with the National Council of Jewish Women where she was President of the Brooklyn Chapter and received many awards and honors.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 28th at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, New York at 12:45 PM.
