Obituary

Calling all Earth Angels, Mom would like you to know that her work here is complete. As much as she would love to stay, she received a call from the angels up above with an offer she couldn't refuse…a mission from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge signing bonus:a reunion with her Mother and Father, Brother John and extended family/friends (she has not seen in a long time); all celebrating with an endless bottle of Chandon.
Upon reviewing mom's resume, they were impressed by the woman who was born on October 11, 1949, to John and Betty Watson of O'Neill NE and decided that she was a perfect fit for this new assignment. Part of the review included a sister, Nancy (husband Gary) born 22 months later (as she always reminded Nancy it was not a full two years) followed with two brothers, John born in '54 and Richard (wife Pamela) born in '59. Higher education at the U of NE at Lincoln. Receiving a master's in education and later in her career combining education with an emphasis on encouraging people to align their hearts and minds combining intuitive guidance and education in their homes, classrooms and community.
In concluding their review, the angels above, took a brief look into mom's professional and personal career: 40 years in education (in four states) ultimately finding her love of education at the Community Learning Center (CLC) in Laguna Beach, CA in combination with the lessons of HeartMath (Heart Lock-Ins). Additional personal notes they observed: her continuous adoration for the community of Laguna; her adventuresome spirit in such things as dog sledding in Alaska, swimming with sting rays in Tahiti, skydiving in Sedona, walking on fire and the list goes on, and finally, her ability to be touched and loved by all of her family and friends and giving the same in return.
In taking on this new endeavor, mom's two loving children, Scott (wife Nikki and grand dog, Bruno) and Heather (David, Luisa and grand angel, Dean) will remain here in this reality, to keep things in order… although probably not as organized, nor as grammatically correct and especially not as well ironed. Along with her good knight, Gil Dunning, who will continue to spread her positive outlook and caring nature.
She wants you to know how much she loves and appreciates each of you. As you walk through the beauty of this earth, she wants you to know you are never alone. If you wish to see her you can look upon the setting sun, see her reflection within a rainbow, or amongst the flittering and fluttering of butterflies. She will be there in one form or the other.Cry if you wish AND also be happy knowing that she was here.
One of her favorite mottos: "Dance as if no one were watching, sing as if no one were listening, and live each day as if it were your last."
Instead of sending flowers, please practice random, unsolicited acts of kindness and pay it forward.
