Scott Edward Bartlett, age 21, of Laguna Hills passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Cherished son of James and Terri Bartlett, beloved brother of Max Bartlett.Survived and missed by his grandmothers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Loved by his longtime girlfriend Hayley Maciel and a loyal friend to many.
Scotty was a fun loving free spirit who never failed to surprise his family and friends with his observations and adventures. He graduated from Laguna Hills High in 2016 and went on to study at Oregon State and San Jose State University where he was currently enrolled as a junior. Born and raised in Orange County, he loved hanging out at the beach; especially San-O. His friends were all precious to him and he adored spending time with them, entertaining them in his unique and often hilarious way. He had big dreams to live in a house on the beach someday.
He loved music and often played for hours on his guitar. He was a big fan of the Grateful Dead, John Mayer and other great guitarists.
He took great joy in playing ice hockey with his fellow Frostwolves at the Great Park where he was known for his "I don't believe in shoes" mantra.
Scotty, we miss your big smile and are heartbroken over all the tomorrows we will never get to share with you.
We're so grateful for the time we had with you and all the wonderful memories we will always hold dear. We hope you are hanging out with Jerry Garcia and reveling in the music you loved so much.
