Sharlene Lietz lived her life with tenacity and spunk. She was sassy in the best way and always saw the humorous side of things. She was honest, generous and kind. She was a wonderful listener and truly interested in the lives of her friends for whom she cared deeply.  Sharlene called a spade a spade and had formidable strength, even when her physical body was giving up.

Her friends have lost a bright light. May she find peace, beauty, rest, wholeness and love in her transition.  Her longtime pal Tookie has been adopted by friends and is being properly spoiled. We will drive past every Starbucks, think of Sharlene's signature "caramel affogato frappuccino" and keep her close in our hearts.
