Obituary

Sharon Kay Middaugh-Brown, born January 7, 1940 in Bremen, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20th at her home in Laguna Niguel. Born to Royden and Betty Hilyard-Middaugh, she has 5 siblings: Shirley Moyer (passed), Roger Middaugh (passed), Larry Middaugh (passed), Denise Peters and Robin Schuler. She moved to California where she married the love of her life, WIlliam "Bill" Brown, on January 12th. Sharon and Bill had two children, Mark and Michael.

Sharon worked on and off throughout her married life.She especially enjoyed working at the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens as a docent and was certified as a "Master Gardener". She was also a busy mom raising her sons. She is survived by her husband, BIll, son Mark, Daughter-in-law Bella, son Michael and grandson Kellen.

Sharon's pride and joy was being a devoted and loving wife followed by spending time with her children and being in her garden. She enjoyed nature and all of God's creation and took great pride in taking care of her beautiful garden.She loved going on long walks and admired the natural beauty around her.

Sharon was a very gracious lady who loved the Lord. She loved having lengthy conversations with various family members and quickly made friends with all her neighbors. She adored all her nieces and nephews and was so proud in seeing them all grow up and hearing of each of their accomplishments.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00pm in her majestically beautiful garden in Laguna Niguel followed by a reception.
