Obituary

Skylar Rae Scripter was born on August 14, 2003 and left this world far too soon on February 26, 2022.

Skylar also known as "Sky Sky" and "Sky" to her dearest friends. Skylar was BEAUTIFUL, GENUINE, ADVENTUROUS, SILLY and the word KIND is an understatement when describing her. Most people closest to her will remember her for how selflessly she cared for her friends and family.

She loved her animals and loved her pets dearly. Her best friend was her Golden Retriever "Hero" along with her two favorite cats "Tigger and Roo."

Our sweet girl was a true "Rae" of sunshine, she literally "chased sunsets" always investigating the next amazing place to catch the most incredible sunsets and photographing them. Her most favorite sunsets were at the beach, she loved everything about the ocean and especially loved swimming in the ocean as often as possible. Her other love was butterflies she appreciated their beauty in a different way than most others and loved to take pictures of them also.

Skylar graduated from Laguna Hills High School. She was an athlete and played Club volleyball as well as on the JV volleyball team for her Highschool. Skylar also swam on the Junior Varsity Swim Team as a Freshman & Sophomore in High School. She was currently attending Saddleback College finishing her general education and planned on attending a design school soon for she wanted to become an Interior Designer.

She was employed at El Polo Loco for one year and half during the covid shutdowns. She then applied to Woody's and was hired right away getting promoted quickly due to her reliability to her job, but always wanted to work where she could see the ocean, so she applied to Wind and Sea in Dana Point Harbor and was hired immediately as a hostess. She was again promoted shortly after as a food runner and was looking forward to getting promoted to server as fast as she could.

Skylar was a member of Saddleback Church since old enough to walk, following in her older sisters' footsteps, Siearra, singing in the Little Lambs and Cherubs Choir until High School. She sang in theholiday plays and services for the church. The choir also went out into the community and served by doing concerts for the retirement homes during the holidays. She attended numerous summer camps and Kids Quest and eventually was baptized at Saddleback Church in the 6th grade.

Skylar was loved by Nolan Blancette, her Boyfriend whom she loved fiercely. They were the best of friends, they loved to go thrift shopping, attend various concerts and just spend time with one another as often as they could. Even though he was away at San Marco University they always made time to see each other regularly and made their relationship a priority.

She was deeply loved by many she left behind. Especially her Mom Stacie Lynn Riley and her two Sisters Siearra Scripter and Krysta Scripter Flanagan. Her Grandparents Bob & Sally Riley and Al & Pennie Chiechi and many loving cousins. She now lies in her Father's heavenly arms Bryon P. Scripter.

WE LOVE YOU SKYLAR RAE
