Steven Dillon Budrow was born February 6, 1958 and died from a heart attack on January 23, 2020 in Aliso Viejo, California. Steven was father to his two children, Nicole and Dillon and "Grandpa Steve" to his grandson Wyatt and father-in-law to his son-in-law Tyler. Born to William (Bill) Budrow and Terese Agnes Dillon, he is the second of three boys. Brian and Bob Budrow are his two brothers.

Steve was born at St. Luke Hospital in Pasadena, California. He attended San Gabriel High School and went on to attend Long Beach State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business with a minor in Marketing. After college he went into the family business working at Budrow & Co. with his grandmother, dad and brother Brian. Steve spent many years in the tool and hardware industry, working at HomeBase as a tool buyer and ending up at FallTech in 2002 where he worked for 18 years.

Steve met Deborah Beltran at Budrow & Co. and they married in 1986. They had two children and moved to Orange County in 1995 where Steve lived out the remainder of his life. Steve enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and body surfing, but his favorite pastime in her later years was laying on the beach listening to the ocean. While Steve spent the majority of his time working, his most important job was being a proud father and grandfather to his children and grandson.
