Steven Yanagisako was born on May 7, 1955, in Corona, CA, to parents, Ford and Nancy Yanagisako. After graduating from Rosemead High School, he attended LA Trade Tech and graduated from Control Data Institute. He began his career as a computer repair disc specialist with Bell & Howell and later with Digital Equipment Corp. He lived in Temple City, and when his family moved to Orange County he relocated to Mission Viejo. There, Steve joined the family rubber stamp retail store business and became the Master Stamp Maker.
Steve loved playing darts, video games, radio control gliders and repairing pinball machines. He also had a passion for Tamiya mini 4 wheel drive race cars. He was often seen with his son, niece and nephew riding mountain bikes in Also Woods Canyon and Top of the World in Laguna Beach.
Steve is survived by his father, Ford Yanagisako, sister, Lindy Sum, nephew Wyatt Sum, niece, Lexi Siu, son, Brian Yanagisako, grandaughters, Brianna Castro and Jaden Yanagisako, plus 2 great-grandaughters.
