Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to Sushila Dhingra, fondly known as Sushi, who passed away peacefully on June 26 in California at the age of 83.

Born in India on November 24, 1941, she was the heart and soul of her family—an incredibly strong, loving, and generous woman. She had a sparkle in her eyes and a spirit that lit up every room. She loved life's simple joys: a good meal, a spontaneous trip, and plenty of shopping. Feeding people was her love language.

Sushila was the cherished daughter of the late Rajwanti, and daughter-in-law of the late Lajwanti—both remarkable women whose strength lived on through her.

Even in her final days, she held on to life with grace and resilience. She gave endlessly, never expecting anything in return—that was simply who she was.

She now reunites with her beloved husband Arjun Lal Dhingra and their loyal dog Rexy, both of whom she missed deeply.

We'll remember her as our pillar, our cheerleader, and our home. Her love and spirit will stay with us always.

Rest easy, Nani. We'll carry you in everything we do.
