With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Sylvia, our loving mother, on August 14, 2021.She was born on December 8th 1939 in Manila, Philippines to Adolfo and Maria Adela Lagdameo.On October 27, 1962 she married Ricardo Rodriguez who preceded her in death in 2014.Sylvia is survived by her five children, Ron Rodriguez, Romina (Rodriguez) Allen, Rafael Rodriguez, Regina Rodriguez, and Ruby (Rodriguez) Samsing.Sylvia was also blessed with thirteen grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Sylvia was a wonderful cook who showed her love by preparing authentic Filipino food for her family.She enjoyed her work as a manager at Philippine Airlines for over twenty years but she made a courageous decision to move her family to the United States to provide better opportunities for her children.In addition to enjoying frequent trips to slot machines, she also had a passion for adopting lovable shelter dogs.
