Tamara Lynn Sirkel, known to friends and family as Tammy or Tam, was born on April 19th 1955 in Pasadena CA and passed away on Tuesday March 11th, 2025. Tammy was the eldest child of Hank and Carol Andrews, followed by her two brothers Greg and David. She found her true love Tom later in life, they were married July 1st, 1999.

Tammy worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 26 years from where she retired. Although a civilian, she played a key role in different Departments, including Training Bureau and Special Victims Bureau. Once retired Tammy and Tom spent most of their time at the river, even moving there full time for a few years. An avid beach lover, she never lived far from water for too long.

Diagnosed at 54 with early onset Parkinson's disease, she fought valiantly for over 15 years, continuing to be the most loving Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother anyone could ask for, especially in the face of her own adversity. Her selflessness and unconditional love for family and friends will be remembered by all that knew her.

Tammy is survived by her husband Tom, two sons Matt and Chris, step children Bryan and Autumn, brothers Greg and David, and her mother Carol.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday April 13th, 2025, 3:00 p.m. at the Laguna Woods Clubhouse.
