Theodore Francis Garvos, passed away May 4th 2016 at the age of 93 in Aliso Viejo, California. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores Garvos; his children Sandra Nykolayko, Chris Garvos, Susan Mundale; his grandchildren Daniel Nykolayko, Olivia Mundale; and son-in-law Christopher Mundale.
Theodore "Teddy" Garvos was born in Chicago Illinois, to William Theodore Garvos, and Frances Kruczkowski Garvos on January 27th, 1923. He had one brother Raymond Garvos. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army from 1943 to 1945. He married his wife Dolores J Sojka at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on April 15th, 1950, and was married for 66 years.
He was a long time resident of Mt. Prospect Illinois, and worked for Teletype Corporation for 39 years. Retiring in 1980, then moving to Aliso Viejo in 1999 to be with his Children. He was a member of the American Legion with many hours volunteering at the Veterans Hospital.
Teddy loved his Chicago White Sox, and Nascar Racing. He was a loving father, and always welcomed you with a friendly hello and smile.
