Obituary

Tracy Anne Inlander, a vibrant soul whose warmth and laughter touched all who knew her, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Costa Mesa, California. Born in La Mesa, CA, on July 26, 1965, Tracy's journey was one marked by movement, passion, and an unyielding spirit.

Raised in the sunny embrace of San Diego, she ventured through life’s many landscapes—Los Angeles, Atlanta, and ultimately settling in Orange County—bringing with her a radiant energy that could light up any room. Her early career in marketing and web design showcased her creative talents, but it was when she embraced full-time motherhood to her beloved daughter, Campbell Faye Inlander, that she found her deepest joy and proudest accomplishment. Tracy’s gift for turning houses into homes was evident not only in her professional studies of Interior Design at San Diego State and America College in Atlanta but also in the nurturing environment she created for her family.

Tracy was, above all else, a force of nature. A spitfire whose warm humor and fierce love for those around her made her a beloved wife to Todd Lewis Inlander and a cherished daughter to Charles Kenneth Keach and Marquita Keach. She delighted in the company of her brother, Charles Scott Keach, and found her greatest happiness in family and true friendship.

Her zest for life was infectious and unforgettable. Tracy hated to sit still; her days were filled with movement, from roller skating with graceful strength to long walks that showcased the arms she was so proud of. She was addicted to candy and popcorn, a lover of fine wine, and found peace and pleasure in the soil beneath her hands—planting and tending to her garden was her happy place. Her laughter often rang out at comedy shows and concerts, reflecting a soul that refused to be subdued even as she faced the cruel challenge of Posterior Cortical Atrophy, a form of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Known for her boundless energy and compassion, Tracy was not only an amazing wife and devoted mother but a steadfast friend and a beacon to those lucky enough to know her. She made her husband more outgoing, encouraging joy and connection, a testament to her selflessness and the wide reach of her love.

A memorial service to celebrate Tracy’s extraordinary life will be held on April 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McCormick & Son Mortuaries in Laguna Hills, California, followed by a gathering until 4:00 p.m. at the same location. Those who wish to honor her memory are invited to come together and reflect on the spark she brought to this world.

Tracy Anne Inlander’s vivid spirit, her passion for life’s simple and grand pleasures, and the indelible mark she left on her family and friends will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved her. She was a rare and beautiful soul—a true force to be reckoned with, deeply missed but never forgotten.
