Tsing Chi Chang, also known to her friends in Maryland as Jean and latter in life she wanted to be called by her childhood name Kiku. To us, she was mom and grandma. Mom was born on November 9, 1935 and passed away on May 19, 2016 at the age of 80 in Mission Viejo, CA. She is survived by her 3 children: Doris McQuaid, Richard Chang and Philip Chang; grandchildren: Kevin McQuaid, Shannon McQuaid, Kyle Chang, Lauren Chang, Jeremy Chang and Dillon Chang.

Tsing was born in Taiwan to her parents, Ho See Wu and Chun Wu. She married in Taiwan and had 3 children. She immigrated with her children and husband to the United States in 1968 and resided in Maryland until 2014 when she came to live with her daughter in Laguna Beach, California.

Jean was a mother, cosmetician, business owner and an entrepreneur. She was fiercely independent, took on challenges without hesitation and above all else, she was persistent. She will be missed
