Vallie was born on April 24, 1959, in Lakewood, California and passed away at home in Dana Point, California, surrounded by her loving family on May 11, 2014. An only child born to Rubin and June Magstadt, she was raised Seventh Day Adventist, and graduated high school from Orangewood Academy in Garden Grove, California. She then graduated with her AA degree from Long Beach City College and began her career as a Real Estate Broker for 25 years. She enjoyed playing competitive volleyball where she met and married her husband, Len Julian on June 15, 1991. Vallies love and compassion moved on into her family, friends and competitive tennis, where she competed in tournaments throughout California. She was an active volunteer in her beach community as well as the desert where she shared a second home with her family. She attended many charity events, always portraying the highest level of generosity. Her reliabile, fun loving spirit and her love for life will live on through all those who loved her and were touched by her presence.
