Veronica Leticia Huerta, known to many as Vivi, was born March 2, 1967 and passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Lake Forest California. She was 54 years old.

Vivi was born to Humberto and Amelia Huerta. She has two siblings Corina and Beto. She grew up in Norwalk, CA where she attended St. Pius X Elementary/Jr. High. Vivi attended St. Joseph High School in Lakewood CA. Vivi was known as a confidant to many around her even at a young age. That didn't change as she grew older. Friends and family knew they could always reach out to her for a listening ear or sound advice.

Vivi found her life's purpose when she became a mother. She has 3 children, Caesar, Valerie, and Victoria. She was a room mom, team mom, Catechism teacher, and Youth Minister for her children as they grew up. She always put her children first and was often complimented on how she raised her children, which to her, was the highest compliment. As her children grew older Vivi wanted nothing more than to be a grandmother. That dream became reality when her grandson Forrest was born in April of 2020. This was no doubt, the highlight of her life.

Vivi held a variety of jobs throughout her life. True to her motherly nature, she had a day care from her home for many years. Some of her other employers include 21st Century Insurance, Kaiser Permanente, St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Associa-PCM, and Power Stone Property Management.

Vivi was a devout Catholic and it was her faith got her through the trials and tribulations of life. Even after a cancer diagnosis, she never lost sight of her faith and trust in God.

Vivi loved her family tremendously and was touched by the outpouring of love she received from everyone in her final months.

Services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2021, 10:00am at Santiago De Compostela Church in Lake Forest CA. Internment following the mass at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA.
