Victoria (née Vogel) King, a long time resident of Mission Viejo, was born April 4, 1926 and passed away January 2, 2015 at age of 88 after a brief illness. Vickie was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York the eldest daughter of Oscar and Fannie, who emigrated from Galicia in modern-day Ukraine. For many years, she worked at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City where she met her husband Harold King, a New York City Police officer. She and Harold retired to Southern California and after losing her husband she settled in Mission Viejo with her sister. She is survived by her sister Sylvia Vogel and brother Irving Vogel and preceded by her husband Harold King, bothers Solomon and Simpson, and sisters Lynn Hauptman and Ruth Cohen.
