IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vincent F
Miscia
March 26, 1949 – March 7, 2025
Vincent F. Miscia passed away peacefully in his home in Laguna Woods, California , on March 7, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family.
Vincent was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Jeanne. Together, they made the journey from Cedar Grove, New Jersey, to California in 2022, starting a new chapter of their lives in Laguna Woods.
Born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey , Vincent was the son of Irma Adele and the late Rocco Miscia. He was also the brother of Robert, Rocco, and Marie, and a cherished uncle to his nieces, nephews, and great-nephews and niece.
Vincent was a loving father to Kenneth and his wife Deborah and their wonderful children—Kenneth, Jaimie, Becca, and Trevor. He was also the proud father of his daughter Veronica and her husband Anthony, and an adoring grandfather to their three boys—Conrad, Dario, and Cristian—whom he cherished deeply. Vincent took great pride in teaching his grandsons everything he knew, passing down his knowledge, wisdom, and love for working with his hands.
Vincent dedicated many years of his life as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Cedar Grove, NJ. A true craftsman at heart, he was also a skilled woodworker, landscaper, and a man who could fix just about anything with his hands.
Beyond his work and family, Vincent had a passion for gardening, cooking, and, most of all, eating. He loved tending to his plants, creating delicious meals, and enjoying good food with those he loved.
Vincent's kindness, humor, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Whether he was tending to his landscape, building something in his workshop, or simply sharing a story, he did so with passion and generosity. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Newport Beach on Wednesday, March 26th, at 8 AM to honor Vincent's life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in his memory , a fitting tribute to his love of woodworking and nature.
Rest in peace, Vincent. Your hands built so much, but your love built even more.
