IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Violeta
Fajardo
November 21, 1941 – December 9, 2023
Violeta Fajardo, a beloved mother, devoted grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 9, 2023 at the age of 82. Violeta was born in November of 1941 in the Philippines; she later migrated to the United States, where she built a remarkable life with her husband, Bonny, their children and friends. She left an indelible mark on those around her.
Violet's greatest joy in life came from her loving family. She leaves behind a world of cherished memories as she is survived by her children, Frank Fajardo, Violet Copeland, Irene Box, and Gena Gipson. She was also blessed with three supportive son-in laws (Don Yeaman, Bill Copeland & Aaron Box), eight grandchildren (Jon-Quisha Herndon, Tim-Chely Copeland, Victoria Copeland, Robert Gipson, Lisa-Dylan McDowell, Aaron Lincoln Box, Justin Copeland & Alan Box) who were the apple of her eye, and six lovely great-granddaughters, whom she adored. Violet's love and dedication to her family knew no bounds, and her legacy of warmth, strength, and resilience will forever live on through them.
Violet had a zest for life that was contagious. She cherished the opportunities to travel, exploring the world with a genuine sense of adventure throughout Europe, Asia and the U.S. Her other passions included indulging in retail therapy in every country she visited; she had a particular fondness for purses, shoes, and jewelry. Food was truly a love language of hers; she especially savored every bite of her favorite meals, grilled lobster, Chicken Adobo and Sinigang, bringing the flavors of her Filipino heritage to the heart of her home.
To celebrate Violeta F Fajardo's remarkable life, for her family in Las Vegas, a viewing was held on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at Davis Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
On January 2, 2024, a Rosary will be recited, providing a solemn moment of reflection and prayer in McCormick & Son Mortuary in Laguna Hills, California. The following day, January 3, 2024, mass will be held at Santiago de Compostela church in Lake Forest, California with graveside service to follow at Ascension Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Bonny. Both events will allow family, friends, and members of the community to pay their respects and bid farewell to a beloved soul who touched their lives in so many ways.
Violet's journey on earth may have ended and she is now with her loving husband, Bonny, but her spirit and legacy will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, forever loved and remembered.
