Whitney Rhea McDaniel (Whit, Lala) born June 13, 1989 passed away June 6, 2014, at the age of 24 years old.

She is survived and loved by her parents Mike McDaniel (Eva McDaniel) and Cynthia McDaniel, and her brothers Michael (Haidee McDaniel), Matthew, Marshall (Alexis McDaniel), Mason, and grandfathers Les McDaniel Richard Dean.

Whitney was born in Laguna Beach and resided in Dana Point, CA.

Whitney showed compassion and love to all animals and had a passion for the arts, specifically drawing and writing.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,

I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard his call,

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work, to play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I've found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,

My Life's been full, I savoured much,
