William Richard "Bill" Favio, age 77, of Laguna Woods, CA departed this life August 22, 2014 at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Laguna Hills, CA.

He was the son of the late Joseph Favio and Nora Pierce Favio born to them on March 05, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan.

Bill served as a specialist in the US Army as a younger man, and a member of the American Legion Post 0257 in the most recent years. He retired from the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association after thirty seven years, leaving many business associates that knew him for his integrity.

Bill and his wife Doris were members of Grace Hills Church in Aliso Viejo, CA where they attended regularly.

He is survived by his loving wife Doris Cole Favio, daughter Tammy Schultz and her special friend Lance Storrie of Corona, CA, son Kevin Favio of Costa Mesa, CA, grandson Ryan Schultz of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughters Jamie Schultz and Ashley Schultz of Corona, CA, brother Larry Favio of Lake Park, IA, a very special niece, Karen Gray of Barbourville, KY, who he thought of as a daughter, and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

A Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:00 am at Grace Hills Church, Aliso Viejo, CA with Graveside Service on Monday, September 01, 2014 at 11:15 am at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
